Difference Between Dry and Dehydrated

OMG, 2021 is Almost Over! I hope you are having a nice holiday season with your friends and family. :) Then, how about your skin??? Your skin gets dry and itchy?

Now I have a question for you: Do you know what the difference is between dry and dehydrated?

In fact, the answer is pretty simple.

  • "Dry" is a lack of oil production in the skin.

  • "Dehydrated" is a condition that means a lack of water.

All skin types (even oily) can be dehydrated, especially in the drier winter months.

If you have dry skin, the skin feels tight, itchy, flaky. If your skin is in a dehydrated condition, the skin looks dull and tired. You can see fine lines when you elevate your skin with your finger. Pores are more visible.

The biggest mistake is stripping the skin of what little protective moisture and oil content we have during the cleansing and rising process. Please avoid harsh cleansers and hot water.

Also, using the facial mist during the day is not working on your skn. Actually, it would make your skin feel dry more if you don't use the moisturizer after the mist.

It is important to re-evaluate your skincare regimen, especially the cleanser, and prevent aggravated dryness. And switching the whole product is not necessary. :)

If you are not sure you are using the right products or how to use the products to get maximum results, let me help you!
