Removing Dead Skin Cell, part 2

I talked about exfoliation last time and mentioned AHA. I use Glycolic and Lactic acid for facial treatment. So I want to talk about it a bit deeper, also another Hydroxy Acid this time.

Glycolic acid is part of AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) comes from sugar cane and the smallest molecular in AHA.

Lactic acid is also an AHA family that comes from lactic acid. We have Lactic acid in our body system, so more compatible with our skin. If your skin is sensitive to Glycolic acid, I recommend this for deep exfoliation when you have a facial.

Salicylic acid is part of BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid) and comes from a plant(willow tree). There are great benefits from deep exfoliation, such as stimulating new skin cell growth, helping sun damage and acne scars, and minimizing pores or wrinkles. In the beginning, your skin may get good results but later.

Again, now a day, there are so many products having Glycolic or Salicylic acid that you can use every day. But I don't recommend using multiple acid products daily. In the beginning, your skin may get good results but later tends to be more sensitive, sometimes having more breakouts.

There are so many things we can't control right now. So we unconsciously overdo and create another chaos. Do you agree?

PLEASE listen to your skin.

We expect too much sometimes, nowadays even though your skin tells you it's enough.

It's all about moderation and be kind to yourself.

Stay healthy,
