Theory of Golden-Time for Your Sleep

Have you had a good night's sleep? When we google it, we learn that lack of sleep/poor sleep quality leads to some unfavorable health consequences, including heart disease type 2 diabetes. A disrupted sleep pattern will cause the Cortisol to elevate and negatively affect the regenerative process for the skin and body also the symptoms of many mental conditions, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.

When I was talking about "Golden-Time" especially for the skin, someone told me a new theory that it's too old-fashioned to say "the golden time for the skin is between 10 pm and 2 am.". - I still think 10-2 is ideal. However, in reality, many people simply can't get to bed by 10 pm nowadays. I couldn't find the article, but This theory could be helpful/encouraging to some of you.

What's the theory?. This timeline is for old-style life. The growth hormone which renews the skin cells is most active in the first 3 hours of sleep. So let's change the idea of early sleep to that of HIGH-QUALITY sleep in the first 3 hours." Ohh, that makes sense.

The quality of your sleep at night affects by how you wake up in the morning. During the first 30 minutes of your day, you need to look outside and get sunlight in your eyes, eat fruit and water, or have breakfast.

Taking a pill to force yourself to sleep is not an ideal idea for the long term. Let's try holistic approaches - make sure you have enough physical activity during the day, and an hour before you sleep at night, do not look at any screens (TV, computer, phone, etc.). Try relaxing with music or a book. I find gentle stretch before going to bed is helpful. Also, some essential oils help to sleep, such as Roman Chamomile, Petitgrain, Sweet Orange, Lavender, German Chamomile, Sweet marjoram, Valerian (this guy smelled so bad, but somehow works), and Vetiver. It's worth trying it!

What do you think? Hope it helps to take a look your sleep. :)

Happy Skin Care and Self-Care!
